Hello, I am Praheesh first of all I like to thank you for checking out my site which shows you how to save electricity at home by building a renewable power system in your home all by yourself!!
I am a under-graduate mechanical engineering student. I did a project to improve the solar panel efficiency, during the research i found out we are not utilizing the enormous amount of renewable free energy out there in a proper way. For installment of good renewable power system we need thousands of dollar of investment so that we are paying to the greedy utility companies for our energy needs.
Then I came across this wonderful Home Made Energy tool, with this everyone having basic skill can build a powerful solar and wind energy system for their home at very small amount of money.
Then I asked myself why can’t I give a try? So I started building a small-sized 20W solar panel for my project work, within 1 hour I completed it. Amazing thing is the instructions are very clear so that anyone with tool handling skills can build it. Also it saved me 10$ (excluding tool cost since i borrow most of the tools from friends and college workshop). Then I build a little large-sized one for my home which fuel the 60W emergency lamp. I am planning to build a combined solar and wind energy system which make my home completely energy independent GREEN-HOME
You may wonder why i am telling this? Because everyone who wants to go OFF GRID can build an energy system either solar or wind suitable for you and save your money. MORE IMPORTANTLY solar panel won’t cost much off course the silicon cells cost little bit ( due to its method of preparation) but not the entire solar panel. So what you think this solar panel is? It’s nothing other than properly arranged silicon cells in a suitable platform.
